How to Train Your Dragon

Recently I watched to show “How to Train Your Dragon”. It was a good show that within contained many lessons and morals we could learn from.
The story was about a young Viking named Hiccup. He was never as big as the other Vikings and no matter how hard he tried he could never kill the dragons that repeatedly attacked his village. Everyone thought he was useless and pathetic. One day he found a dragon and helped it with its broke tail and eventually became friends with it. Because of this he rode on the dragon and helped destroy the dragon’s evil leader.
We can take away a lot from this movie. Many times today we underestimate people or judge them just by their appearance. We don’t take the time to get to know some one before we automatically put a label on them. It might be the smallest of us that one day go on to do great things and make the biggest impact on this world. We can also learn from this movie that maybe some things that we see as bad could be used for a good cause. Like the dragons in the movie were always seen as bad, but then young Hiccup used them for good. We could do this with many things we encounter today. We need to open our eyes a little wider and maybe get a different outlook on things and even life. If we try these things I believe we could make this place a little better.

  1. I've never seen th is movie but it sounds really good. I definitely agree with the saying that you should never judge something by its looks. This guy was taught to fear dragons and the dragon wasn't as menacing as everyone told him they were. The dragon even became his friend so its definitely a safe thing to say that you should never judge anyone or anything without knowing it personally.
